MSPN has created Missouri SPAN as a way to raise awareness that suicide is a public health issue and to gain broad-based support for suicide prevention advancement. We are supporting activities like establishing new or making changes in policies, programs, practices and services. There are two pieces to Missouri SPAN: signing up for advocacy alerts and learning how to advocate for suicide prevention.

Register for Advocacy Alerts

By becoming a member, you will be joining a collective voice that is speaking out for suicide prevention in Missouri. You are agreeing to receive suicide-related news, state legislation and policy emails that need your support.

*Optional, we use this to help identify legislators in your voting district. We do not share this information.

Thank for joining the Missouri SPAN team.

Together we can all help prevent suicide.

Missouri SPAN Advocacy Handbook

MSPN has developed an easy to use tool that will help you advocate for suicide prevention. The Missouri Suicide Prevention Advocacy Handbook is free to download, topics include: what is suicide prevention advocacy, steps you can take to help reduce suicide in your community, the Missouri legislative process and how you can create change, and more. Please use it and share it.
